Cheerios and pity

As I sweep together the fallen Cheerios, pink and blue bits of tissue paper from a failed pom-pom excursion, and who knows what tracked in on the bottom of Mr. hubs' shoes into a pile I think to myself, " This is the most creative looking thing I have made in a month."

I'm deflated.
{{ Well not literally. Otherwise these jeans would fit a WHOLE lot better!}}

 I'm pretty sure that is a sin in the blogging land; being uncreative. Am I right? All you bloggers out there always have the most creative posts and beautiful before and after and your themed "Makeover Monday," and  "Terrific Tuesday's."

This last month, I have had nothing.
What happened?

Meanwhile, I am out there stalking all you amazing crafters and artists to hopefully get my mojo going again!

Please...I beg you...show me something inspiring. Hopefully someone out there will help me get back into the groove of things.

  1. Everyone goes through it. You are normal! I'll be back tomorrow to link up something - don't know about creative, though. I usually make what sells!

  2. I've had a few successes in holiday crafting (for a change) but I haven't shown the horrid failures. Behind every decent craft are usually 2 dismal attempts. I'm running outta steam, though, now...honestly i'm ready to just sit back and enjoy the music and some hot chocolate :)

    I linked a ridiculously easy craft you could try...be hard to fail!

    peace...anyone with your taste and talent deserves a break in the creativity now and then :)

  3. With as many cute ideas as you have com up with I'm POSITIVE that you'll get back into the swing of things! Stick with it! Here's what I do when I'm stuck in a rut....

    1) I look around my house and see if there is ANYTHING that could use some change. Something could ALWAYS be updated in one way or another (ie. a lamp, art work, move around furniture, paint an accient wall... there is TONS of inspiration all over my house! LOL)
    2) Go to the Dollar Tree. I know sounds crazy but there is a bunch of "crap" there that can be turned into something FAB-U-LESS! I have walked around the store for an hour or so just picking up RANDOM things and thinking of all the possibilities!

    Anyways hope that helps some! Good luck! I look forward to seeing what you come up with! I love your work!! :-)
