This year I am so excited to see all of the painted pumpkins.
White pumpkins seem to be obsolete in this area, until this year.
Last year, I had to improvise and paint my pumpkins white.
I am the self-proclaimed queen of improvising . (Remember when I painted my door with fingernail polish?)
It's also fun to change up your decor.
If you already have your Fall pumpkins out for a while. They tend to get a little boring to look at. As Halloween gets closer I like to add some special touches: creepy crawly things, spider webs, and lately I'm loving a simple black crow (Dollar Tree $1 !!)
Something as simple as the word "boo." really turns a pumpkin from "cute" to "wow!"
skip carving this year and start painting!
