On another note: I can't always be perfect.
I must admit: I love just about everything that I create. Conceded much?
Anyway, I have this ottoman. I bought it at a yard sale for $5 and it has sat untouched in my living room for almost 2 years.
Can you believe I let this happen? It's hideous and dirty!
After that said, It is really comfy and great for propping your feet up or to use as extra seating.
Today I finally had enough. After realizing I didn't have enough of any one fabric , I russeled out all of my scraps and got to work!
Within an hour I created a make-shift ottoman slipcover.
Pass or fail?
Love the slipcover! Doesn't it make you mad when something that took years to get around to, only takes 1 measley hour to do?? And it is gorgeous to boot!!

I had the same issue when I refinished our door, that was hideous for over 3 years! - 1 hour to strip it
