To buy or not to buy? Oh how I love my fabric softener.
I found tons of recipes on laundry detergent. Not so many on fabric softener.
I found a couple using a combination of things including any ol' brand of hair conditioner. However, I think that defeats the "all natural" purpose. I can't pronounce any of the ingredients in conditioner....so, I'm pretty sure it's not naturally occurring. I'm
The most often found recipe was using- vinegar.

Vinegar just smells horrible!
I can't deal with it. I kept thinking to myself . Are there really people out there using this fabric softener and if so I do not want to be trapped in the same room as them.
............until...........
I found THIS site . Turns out vinegar is a deoderizer and after vinegar dries there is no smell. hhmm.. interesting. Why no other site never tells you that, I'm not sure. Maybe I'm the only one who shivers at the thought of the smell....
back on topic:
So, I tested it out. While doing so I was thinking, "my blog readers better really appreciate me walking around smelling like pickle"
It works! It actually works and doesn't smell! I couldn't believe it when I pulled the clothes out of the dryer and they smelled wonderfully fresh and felt unbelievabley soft. interesting.
I used my Downy ball (easily found at Wal-mart or other large retailers) filled the vinegar half way up to the "fill" line then filled it the rest of the way up to the "fill" line with water.
done. easy peasy lemon squeezy.
