Me oh My where have I been?

After shipping out some packages from my Etsy shop......

A couple years ago Me and the Mr. went to an auction. This was our first "real" experience at an auction house. I sat there with  my little paddle in anticipation . I couldn't wait to buy

SOMETHING!

ANYTHING!

Unknowingly I arrived late for the auction . Leaving us with no where to sit . So there we sit in the back of the auction house. I spotted a cute little Vanity/dresser. I Threw my paddle up in the air and got into a bidding war and won my cute little dresser for $25 bucks!

Hubs ,who was in the potty at the time, said ," you bought that Old thing??" I didn't understand what he meant until I went to pick it up.  {Laugh}

This............

...........is what I bought. Non- functional drawers and all. So, needless to say....i payed for it and put it in my storage building.

{{{{Three years later}}}

I drug that old dilapidated baby out and decided I'm going to use it . and like it.

So here ya go:

I fixed the drawers and gave her a antique finish ( Just like I did the Table in this POST  )

Now she holds up my T.V.

Mr. Hubs said," wow, to think...I was going to burn it"  I {{Heart}} paint.

WHERE HAVE I BEEN??

Yup. You guessed it. We took a spontaneous trip to Georgia and South Carolina.

We checked out the zoo, the harbors , and of course...

The beach.

 IT WAS BEAUTIFUL.
