Last year, basically ,all of my Christmas decorations were ruined when our storage building was destroyed by a storm. I rushed to make as many ornaments as I could at the time. But, I couldn't seem to find the motivation to make the most of it.
This year: new house, new surroundings, (less money!) and some how more motivation. So far, I've made the most of the beautiful free things that nature has to offer and have created a wreath
primitive extras
tabletop displays
some ornaments
and today I created an outdoor table top display
My favorite part of this display is my little faux Christmas tree. This little fella , apparently, tried to grow this summer and didn't make it. A quick pluck from the ground, a drilled hole to secure it upright , some quick rustic ornaments and tada!

It's all beautiful, but my favourite is the simple jars with the twine wrapped around the tops...Thanks! I may have to copycat!
ReplyDeleteI love your outdoor table display. You are terrific.
ReplyDeleteMy motivation comes in spurts too. Your round slices of tree ornaments are beautiful. I love the rustic look.

Where's my favorite chair???
So sorry to read about your lost ornaments- what a shame. Your wood ornaments are wonderful. I love burning wood...kinda addicting, isn't it?
Have a great week,
Tina
