The last time I showed you my gallery wall, I wasn't completely satisfied. The whole reason I started the gallery wall was to balance out the giant tv and lamp with the rest of the space.
While trying to design around those two things, I finally realized it was the lamp that needed to go.
After swapping out the lamp, a couple photos, and refinishing some of the frames. I think I am satisfied with the end result.
...for now .
Moving the original lamp to the otherside, I eventually removed it from the room altogether and found a replacement at a thrift store for $5.
What was once an aged, crusty, yellow stained , brass lamp - Is now my favorite part of our room!
With a little paint and fabric, I transformed it to work perfectly for this space.
The otherside of the bed was blank, empty, and boring.

I felt like I needed big scale items to balance out the large pull down map. So, I harvested these "bushy-things" from my yard. Every year the plant needs chopped down to the ground to re-grow the following year: a perfect opportunity to get a freebie accent piece to our space.
