Before I get to the winner...

You all know the JOYS of having a white slip cover

But, what about when they are no so perfect?

Being white, having a 7 (and 3/4...sheesh) year old , a toddler, and a kitty my sofa stays pretty darn clean. But, there are major occasions when it doesn't . sigh. ...Like this morning.

My itty bitty was minding his sweet business ,eating breakfast in his high chair , being quiet....  a little too quiet. So, I picked him up and brought him over to the sofa where I was drinking my coffee and watching my morning news show and watched as the little dude squirmed around in his spot, " What are you doing you silly little thing ?" he looked at me and said, " pee."

Time to change a diap-y ! So, I picked him up , went to get a diaper and noticed his "freshly changed diaper" was excessively squishy to have just been changed moments before . ...I ....looked....down....

only to find an awful, terrible, icky...mess.

Apparently the kid has had some good amounts of fiber because his bottom side exploded! ...in his diaper...in his high chair...and yup..on the crisply just cleaned white slip cover.

So, what do I use to clean up messes?

Oxi-clean is an absolute MUST in this house-hold!

Stains? Lay it flat, sprinkle enough oxi-clean to cover the spot , dab with water and watch the stain disappear (This is my method . The directions say otherwise)

To wash my slip covers I usually use my home made laundry detergent . But, lately I've been using Tide. Just because I love how the smell fills the entire house on a big laundry day.

Another one of my favorite (FAVORITE!) products is

White couch+ black furred kitty= mess! Instead of kicking out the kitty (which I would never do) I decided to splurge and spend $4 on this little fella and I am never so happy I did. It . really. works. Just swipe it back and forth in short stroke and you can literally see the results collected in the back of the little contraption. It even collects fur you can't see on the couch. It's actually kind of gross to see what we were sitting on! ew!
