I found this piece on Craigslist and fell in love. However, I wasn't in love with the dark brown stain and gold accents.
But, was painting this piece an option?
Despite all you anti-painted-furniture people out there, I painted it a beautiful soft white.
Upon first site I just knew that is what this cute little dainty piece needed!
I am so glad I did. I think it turned out absolutely perfect. If I had room in my house, I wouldn't let it go.
I decided to keep a little of the original wood peaking out and I just adore the contrast it created.
