is having a baby!
Let me tell you, this girl is something. I don't think I have every met anyone as caring and gentle as she. Awesome chic!

Last January she found out they were going to welcome a teeny tiny bundle of joy only to soon realize they lost their sweet baby after only a couple months.
I really don't understand why these things happen to such amazing people.
She found strength in the lord and I am so thankful for that.
I'd like to think that their beautiful unborn baby had the most satisfying life of anyone. This baby never had to see any evil that is in this world. The baby had nothing but endless amounts of love and care that any baby could ever have.
Not too long after they found out they were pregnant again. I think she is having a hard time having a baby so close to when she lost her first one. I wish I knew the words to keep her comfortable and knowing that everyone around her is here for her and will love her always.
My oober friend is expecting a baby girl in January ! I have two boys so I just can't wait for this cutie pituty to get here. I look forward to all the play dates . She doesn't have a name yet but mommy picked out some great prospectives. This little mini and my youngest son are only going to be one year apart. Perfect! Just to let you know mommy and baby are both doing fabulous.

All the excitement ,however, did not help me finish her baby shower gifts.
I have 4 days to finish .
My idea was to find a beautiful vintage piece of furniture that can be used for a changing table and as a great piece after the baby has outgrown it.
no luck
Instead, I found this on craigslist.
Just an ordinary changing table.
It's one of the cuter versions I have seen though. I of course and going to {paint} it! I will find a way to add some special touches as well. Wish me luck!
I better stop talking to you gals, go pick it up , finish it along with a few other things I have up my sleeve.

ReplyDeleteReading backwards I'm sorry this didn't work out. A rocking chair can be an amazing baby gift, too. You can't really change the baby on it but it might be easier to find in time to get refinished. What about a small buffet as a changing table? If the height is wrong you can saw off the legs or add bun feet to it. I've seen those done and they have mega storage.
